Mediqation is currently a medication reminder application. Additional functionalities may be added in the future as part of continuous development efforts.
This application is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Users should consult with their healthcare providers regarding their medication regimen.
Mediqation is an actively developing application, and we continuously work on improving its features and performance.
User Responsibility
Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the medication schedule inputted into the application. While Mediqation assists in organizing medication reminders, users acknowledge that ultimate responsibility for medication management lies with them. It is incumbent upon users to verify the correctness of their medication settings and dosages, as well as to consult healthcare professionals for guidance on medication management. Mediqation does not assume responsibility for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in user-inputted data, nor for any adverse outcomes resulting from reliance solely on the application for medication management.
Data Practices
Mediqation is designed to save your medical records on your own device. Your medical records are not uploaded to any cloud servers or services.
Information inputted into the application stays on the user’s device and isn’t synchronized with any cloud storage. When uninstalling the application, most of the data is deleted, although Android may retain some parts of it in certain instances. The recommended method for deleting your data is to remove the Mediqation app data from your Android settings first, and then proceed with uninstalling the app.
User data will be retained on the device until the user uninstalls the application or deletes its data. This will be permanent, and we’re not liable for data loss.
In the event that Mediqation implements cloud syncing or storage capabilities in the future, users will be required to provide explicit consent before any medical records are uploaded to the cloud. Mediqation commits to obtaining clear and informed consent from users before initiating any data upload processes. Users retain the right to revoke their consent at any time, upon which their data will be promptly removed from cloud storage.
Some basic information about the application and the device may be shared with third-party services, such as Google Firebase, for the purpose of enhancing the application’s performance and features. This data sharing is aimed at improving the overall functionality and health of the application. Please refer to the Firebase privacy policies page for more information on how they collect, use, and protect your data.
Users are advised against installing Mediqation on rooted devices due to potential privacy and security risks. Rooting a device may compromise the integrity of the operating system and expose sensitive user data to unauthorized access. By installing Mediqation on a rooted device, users acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with such actions. Mediqation disclaims any liability for security breaches or data compromises resulting from the installation and use of the application on rooted devices.
